Camille McCutcheon coordinates collection management at the University of South Carolina Upstate and has been a librarian at the University for over twelve years.
Prior to working at USC Upstate, Camille worked as a librarian at Converse College for two years. She received a Joint Master's Degree in English and Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Public Affairs from Columbia College.
Camille has been an active member of SELA since 2000. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Planning Committee. Last year, she served as the SC representative for SELA. Prior to 2009, Camille served in the following capacities at various times: Chair of the University and College Section, Chair of the Library Instruction Round Table, and Chair and Co-Chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committee. She currently serves as a reviewer for The Southeastern Librarian.
She is a member of the South Carolina Library Association (SCLA) and has served in the following capacities at various times: SCLA secretary, SCLA treasurer, Chair of the Legislative Committee, and Chair of the Bibliographic Instruction Interest Group.
Camille is a member of ALA and has been active in the Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT). She concluded her term as Archivist at the close of the Annual 2010 Conference. Prior to her term as Archivist, she served in the following capacities at various times: as LIRT Secretary and Chair and Co-Chair of the Top Twenty Committee.
